She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. Slear and Fredith A. Slear (Fisher); and her husband William W. Simpson. She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki S. (William S. Fennell) and Valinda A. Simpson of Northumberland; her siblings, Faith Fasold of Northumberland and Keith; and her siblings-in-law, Christine Slear of Northumberland and Robert Louis Richard of Winfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
