James F Packer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James F Packer (Northumberland, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Packer and Lois A. Packer (Phillips); and his stepdaughter Nickie Jeavons. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Palermo; his son Scott J.; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Packer.

Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (68 Center St, Danville, PA 17821). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
