He was predeceased by : his parents, James McCarthy and Helen McCarthy. He is survived by : his wife Ashleigh McCarthy (Porter); and his children, Lachlan James, Rowan Gail and Waylon Edward. He is also survived by family, his in-laws, and the friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home (301 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the McCarthy kids fund.
