We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2025, at the age of 85, Edward F. Furman of Noxen, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Edward leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Furman and Margaret Washick Furman; his sister Pearl Sepnefski; and his son-in-law Dwayne Kalinay. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smurl Furman; his children, Edward Furman Jr. (Kim), Charlene Coombs (Brian), Lehman, Cindy Manzoni (Danny), Chase, Doreen Kalinay and Keith Furman (Charlene); his brother John Furman (Regina); and his cousin Richie Dydynski. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
