We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2025, at the age of 85, Joseph J. Bergan of Oak Ridge, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis X. Bergan and Mary Bergan (Puketza) of Centralia; and his siblings, William Bergan and Ann "Nancy" Brennan. He is survived by: his wife Eileen M. Bergan; his children, Christopher Bergan (Deanna) of Indiana, Kelly Jo Tamanini (Bill) of Mount Carmel and Eileen Evert (Scott) of Elysburg; his grandchildren, Laura Simmons (Bill) of North Carolina, Joe Bergan of Mississippi, Eddie Grego of Bloomsburg, Michael Evert of Elysburg and Madelyn Evert of Elysburg; his great grandchildren, Tommy, Lucas Simmons and Emma Rae Bergan; his siblings, Francis Bergan and Kathryn Brennan of Hatboro; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Nashlenas (Pat) of North Carolina and Kathy Lutz (Ken) of Mount Carmel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Joseph J. Stutz Funeral Home (40 S Market St, Mt Carmel, PA 17851). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (47 S Market St, Mt Carmel, PA 17851). A burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (172 All Saints Rd, Elysburg, PA 17824).
