It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clara S. Oskin of Oakmont, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John; her daughter Lynda; her parents, Mary Gorsha and Frank Gorsha; and her siblings, Clair Gorsha, Leonard Gorsha, Anne McAdams and Catherine Migliozzi (Peg).
She is survived by: her children, John H. Oskin (Karen) of Irwin and Claire D. Grove (Robert) of Cecil Township; her grandchildren, Jeff, Chris, Kevin Oskin, Suzanne and Brent Grove; and her friends, Amy and John Faith. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cremation and Alternative Services, Inc. (421 Allegheny Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakmont Presbyterian Church (415 Pennsylvania Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139).
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or Oakmont Presbyterian Church.
