She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Charles S. Cain and Anne Catherine Higgins Cain; her husband William T. Deasy; her son David J. Deasy; and her siblings, Frances Cain and Charles Cain (Lee Andrews).

She is survived by: her children, Pamela A. Garver (Bob), Lynn A. Lamonna (Ron), Brennan R. Deasy (Kathy), William P. Deasy (Paula) and Megan A. Collins (Mike); her grandchildren, Christine, Bobby (Emily), Jimmy, Johnny (Jackie), Brittany, Lauren (Aaron), Ryan, Luke, Jonah, Gideon, Holden, Hannah, David and Will; her great grandchildren, Jake, Jude and Harper; and her sisters, Colleen Brown (late George) and Nancy Crawford (Edward).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, Pittsburgh Office, 2835 East Carson Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
