He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Mitchell and Vera Lawson; his stepparents, Bob Lawson and Geraldine Mitchell; and his in-laws, Paul and Elizabeth Winger.

He is survived by : his siblings, Marie Petko (Paul) of Corry, David (Patricia) of Palm Desert, CA and Kathleen Confer (Al) of Buckeye, AZ; his brothers-in-law, Gregory Winger (Darla) of Seneca, PA and Kevin Winger (Sheila) of Clearfield, PA; and his goddaughter Julie Harasti Ferringer.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to Community Playhouse, Inc. P.O.Box 1023 Oil City, PA or Venango Region Catholic School 1501 West First St. Oil City.
