He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Walski Montella; his daughters, Lori Slocum of Moosic, Debra Montella McCloskey (Michael) of Hadden Twp, NJ and Carrie Montella Mish (Michael) of New Tripoli; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Luke, Gabrielle, Michael, Joseph and Jack.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish (312 Davis St, Scranton, PA 18505). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:20 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (1498 W Oak St, Old Forge, PA 18518).
