He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Evans and Jane McMyne Evans; his son Baby M. G. Evans; and his brothers, Barry (Rose Marie Cornell), James (Marcille Barbour) and Joseph Munley.
He is survived by: his wife Gerri Munley Evans; his children, Mark Evans and Jennifer Mariotti (Eugene); his grandchildren, Nicholas Evans, Matthew Mariotti, Patrick Mariotti, Daniel Evans, Gracie Mariotti, Molly Evans and Bella Evans; his brothers, Jerry Evans (Rose) and Michael Evans; and his sister-in-law Cindy Munley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish (312 Davis St, Scranton, PA 18505). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
