He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Dean and Willard Dean; and his brothers, Ronald, Dennis, Larry and Gary.

He is survived by: his wife Denise; his sons, Chester Jr. and Christopher; and his siblings, Joel, Alan, Deborah, Bonnie and Connie.

Donations in Chester's memory to the Purple Heart organization would be a meaningful tribute that would have made him very proud.
