He was predeceased by: his wife Fern V. Imbody; his parents, Lawrence A. Imbody and Mabel D. Imbody (Mathias); his great-aunt Ada M. Weller (Mathias); his siblings, Mary (Nevin A. Miller), Katie Mabel B. (John Houck), June E. (Chester L. Marburger) and Lawrence M. Imbody (Betty J.); and his granddaughter Tammy Swoyer.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Imbody (Sharon), Christine Boice (late Charles Boice), Nancy Colegrove (Richard), Doreen Pasquel (William), Sheryl Anne Trout, Barbara Filosa (late Michael Filosa) and Daniel Imbody Jr. (Lisa). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 20 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem United Church of Christ (307 Covered Bridge Rd, Oley, PA 19547).
