He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Willard G. Weida and Cleonice M. Weida (Bleiler); and his brother Robert Weida. He is survived by: his wife Martha O. Weida (Oerther); his children, George J. Weida (Kristina) of Elmore, VT, Peter A. Weida of Harrisburg and Gretchen Belinger (Robert Paul Belinger III) of Leesport; his grandchildren, Owen A. Weida, Saffron A. Weida, Robert Paul Belinger IV (Paul) and Brock V. Belinger; his siblings, Kathryn Schaeffer and Richard (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Denise Weida.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friedens Lutheran Church - Oley (1076 Memorial Hwy, Oley, PA 19547). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Covid-19 prevented him from finishing his goal of visiting all the national parks/monuments accessible with an RV.
