He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Von Dohren (Seyler); his grandchildren, Jared Von Dohren (Lauren (Filardo)) and Casey Boone (Tamara (Neff)); and his great grandchildren, Haylie Boone and Mackenzie Boone.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (423 Main St, Oley, PA 19547). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Friedens Cemetery (337 Main St, Oley, PA 19547).
