He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Gabig and Margaret Brendel Gabig Sr.; his former life partner Margaret "Margie" Fuchs-Gabig; and his sister Margie Olson (Russell) of Maryland. He is survived by : his wife Marlene Wining Gabig; his son Michael Gabig (Michelle) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Maddison K. Gabig and Michael J. Gabig Jr.; and his sister Joan Palombo of Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
