With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alex Burnis of Olyphant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 12, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alex shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alex farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Burnis and Kathleen Burnis (Brace); and his sister Ann Marie Marcinko. He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Heckman (Thomas) of Dupont; his granddaughters, Melissa Rice (Damon) of Quakertown, PA and Michelle Clark (Dan) of Olyphant; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Talim, Zachary, Andrew and Kieran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
