It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paula Shanley of Olyphant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Baumgardner and Mary Glusauskas Baumgardner; her stepfather Walter Spooner; her siblings, Marilee Fisher, Dolores McGraw Holzman, June Cummings, Leroy Baumgardner and Joseph Baumgardner; and her former husband Joseph F. Shanley.
She is survived by: her children, Leigh Runco (Frank), Tiffany Shanley and Joseph Shanley; her granddaughter Chelsea Strelecki (Steve); and her great grandchildren, Camden and Nathan Strelecki. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Later, as her mother fell into Alzheimer's she took the most amazing care of her.
