She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Evans and Beulah Evans (Force); her husband James Joseph Karnes; her son James David Karnes; and her brothers, E. Donald Evans, Sr., A. Max Evans and Ernest A. Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria J. Dawson of Berwick, Richard R. Karnes of Millville and Philip M. Karnes (Brenda) of Lightstreet; and her daughter-in-law Linda Karnes of Bloomsburg. She is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
