He was predeceased by: his wife Hannah B. Saltzer (Wagner); his parents, Livingston Lebo and Dora Alice Saltzer (Evans); his grandson Nicholas Saltzer; and his brother Dale Saltzer.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa J. (Michael A. Phillips) of Sunbury, Michael B. Saltzer of Rochester, NY and Matthew J. Saltzer (Vickie) of Dillsburg; his sister Rita S. Kubert (Jack) of Liverpool, NY; and his close friend Ruth Billig of Orefield. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ziegels Union Church (9990 Ziegels Church Rd, Breinigsville, PA 18031). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
