We announce the death of Frederick Jackson (Orefield, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 88. Frederick will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Frederick’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Joseph and Harriet Elva Landon Jackson; his wife Barbara Kent Jackson; his daughter Michelle Guinn; his sisters, Carolyn LaJeunesse, Elizabeth Braadt DiMarco and Harriet Jackson; and his stepson Erik N. Kent.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise Parsons (HusbandJay); his stepdaughter Kathy Prozonic Fry (Dean Fry); and his brother James B. Jackson. He is also survived by his best friend and caregiver, Faith Proctor; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a step-grandchild; two step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to support causes close to Fred's heart.
