She was predeceased by: her parents, William, Sr. Tait and Emeline Tait (Ogg); her husband Terry D. Eckert; her siblings, Gladys Tait, Marjorie Minnich, Dorothy Hoffner Folk, Ann Kilmer, Lois Hunter and William F. Tait Jr.; and her granddaughter Stephanie Krufka.

She is survived by: her children, Edward Krufka Jr. (Lavinia), Michael Krufka (Brenda), Andrew Krufka (Jean), Theresa Podguski (Richard), Katherine Janis, Margaret Ciliberti (Michael), Susy Shea (Andrew) and Sandy Roberts (Daniel). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; dozens of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless more friends.
