He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Leroy and Viola M. Neil (Oberlander); and his siblings, Joyce Sollenberger, Anna Melvin, Shirley Newlin, Eugene and Greg Neil.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy L. Neil (Sword) of Orrstown; his children, Ramsey Neil of Duncannon, Mandy Etnoyer of Duncannon, Laurie Lescalleet (Frederick) of Carlisle and Andrew Cover (Sherry) of Elliottsburg; and his siblings, Marlin "Butch" Neil (Freda) of Chambersburg, Mark Neil of Spring Run, Daryl Neil (Dawn) of Fannettsburg, Phyllis Eckenrode of Spring Run, Wilma Umbrell (Donald) of Spring Run, Angela Neil of McClure and Christina Ives of Fannettsburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
