He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce G. Brown and Katherine Brown (Marshall); and his sister Phyllis Brown. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lee Mosser; his daughters, Pamela Miller (Richard) of Imler, Angela Craig of Imler and Leslie Weyant of Altoona; his grandchildren, Ashley Lankey (Jordan), Brandon Weyant (Emma) and Ryan Craig; his great grandchildren, Carter and Cooper Lankey; and his siblings, William (Darlene) of Osterburg, Bruce (Susan) of Osterburg, Carol Cessna (Don) of Osterburg and Janet Rogers (Eugene) of Imler.
