He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Berkey and Alice Berkey (Taylor); and his former wife Mae Berkey (Cameron). He is survived by: his wife Doris Defibaugh-Berkey (Nunamaker); his daughters, Phyllis Berkey, Joyce (Guy Calhoun), Betty (Daniel Whetstone), Janice (Brian Bence) and Sharon (Michael Stone); and his stepdaughters, Eileen Harbaugh (late Ronald Harbaugh), Debra (Tim Wise) and Cheryl (Rodney Berkey). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
