We announce the death of Elva Marie Leonard (Oxford, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 77. Elva will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Elva will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Elva’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Luck and Cassie Lovell Foley; and her granddaughter Jessica Brechwald. She is survived by: her husband James; her son Jimmy Luck McCloskey (Kathy); her grandchildren, Clayton McCloskey, Cassie Ward (Robert) and Jimmy Luck McCloskey, II; and her siblings, Donald Foley, Billy Foley and Nellie Smallwood. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. (86 Pine St, Oxford, PA 19363). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
