He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Freese and Pauline Freese (McGarvey); his wife Josephine (Shields); and his brothers, David Freese, Paul Freese and James Freese.
He is survived by: his sister Sue Tachick of Alaska; and his siblings-in-law, Doann Freese of Oxford, PA, Dorothy Freese of West Grove, PA, Carol Freese of Nazareth, PA, Flora Shields Herr of Kirkwood, Dan Shields (Michelle) and Judy Herr Shields. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Oxford Church of the Nazarene.
