He was predeceased by: his parents, James Parsons and Cora Ellis Parsons; his siblings, James, Paxson, Kmike and Shirley; and his son Joseph Parsons.
He is survived by: his daughters, Alice Orlando of Trade, TN and Susan Moore (Jeff Boyle) of Oxford, PA; his close friend Miguel Herrera (Lizabeth) of Elkton, MD; and his friend Fredda Perkins. He is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
