He is survived by: his father George Gilbert Coughlin; his wife Jean Coughlin (Auermuller); his sons, Michael (Joy) and David (Janine); his foster daughter Peggy Vincent; his grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob, Andrew and Samantha; his brother Thomas (Dechantal); and his sister-in-law Twila Coughlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
