He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest McConnell and Regina Murphy McConnell; and his son James McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Dietrich McConnell; and his daughter Deborah Berardinucci (Gary). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
