He was predeceased by : his parents, David E. Schomp and Carol Schomp (Bean). He is survived by : his wife Jackie (Brixius); his children, Louise Schomp Smith (Kevin) of Tatamy and David E. Schomp III (Katie) of Bangor; his sister Karen Noel (Nicholas III) of Palmer Township; his grandchildren, Madlyn, Theodore Smith, Tyson, Charlotte and Kelton Schomp; his niece Carol Michaels (Tom); his nephew Nicholas Noel IV (Allison); and his mother-in-law Alice Brixius of Tamarac, FL..

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (2101 Northampton St, Easton, PA 18042). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
