The passing of Edna Mae Cortezzo-Sweitzer of Palmer Township, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 10, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Bernasconi and Mae Bernasconi (Roncoroni); her husbands, Vincent "Jim" Cortezzo and Bruce Sweitzer; her daughter Debra Mae; and her sister Lorraine Zoog.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Epler (Gerard) and Mark Cortezzo (Farah); her grandchildren, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Dani and Mariela Cortezzo; her stepchildren, Kathleen Morales, Eileen Raso, AnnMarie Reutti, Robert and Timothy Sweitzer; and her goddaughter Rosemary Caranali. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (415 S 6th St, Emmaus, PA 18049).
