She was predeceased by: her parents, Vandereof Y. Cook and Jenny Cook (Hartung); her husband Ethan B. Petersen; her brother Gary L.; her siblings-in-law, Maria Cook and James Barr; and her parents-in-law, Marjorie and Roger Kitchen.
She is survived by: her children, Vandereof Petersen (Maureen) of Narrowsburg, NY, Kent E. Petersen (Olivia) of Laguna Niguel, CA and Kay Lynn Parks (Gibb) of Williams Twp; and her sisters, Loyce Johnson (Richard) of Roxburg, NJ and Sue Ann Barr of West Chester, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; five nieces and three nephews.
