He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his children, Jonathan J. Shipman and La-Kisha Lewis (Shipman); his granddaughters, Aquasiyah and JaKada Justus (Shipman); and his siblings, George Shipmon, Jr., Otis, Thad, Moses, Brantley, Fred, Willie Shipmon and Mary Andrews (Shipmon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
