He was predeceased by: his parents, Jervis Hettrick and Jessie Hettrick; and his brother John Hettrick. He is survived by: his child Jerry; his wife Elizabeth A. Smith; his son Jervis M. Hettrick; his daughter-in-law Shawn of Highlands, NJ; his daughter Cheryl Hettrick; his son-in-law Bob Szeles of Middletown, NJ; his stepson Jason Leary; and his sister Marjorie Schoppe (Daniel) of Leader, TX. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren.
