He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hans and Rachel Emma Hans (Martin); his wife Anna Leona Hans (Brunner); his son-in-law Daniel Haddad III; and his siblings, Frederick Edwin Hans, Dorothy Young Benson, Pearl Kinney and Muriel Hiney.
He is survived by: his children, Robert E. "Bob" Hans, Jr. of Whitehall, James A. Hans (Renee) of Palmer Township and Debra L. Shultz (Charles) of Palmer Township. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
