She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kern and Mary Kern (Holtzer); and her siblings, Pamela Dankanich, Richard Kern, Carol Diehl and Wayne Kern.
She is survived by: her husband James A. Brown, Sr.; her children, Tina Brogan of Slatington, Darlene Jones of Palmerton, Karen Snyder of Scranton, Carla (Terry Hunsicker) of Palmerton, James A. Brown, Jr. (Caroline) of Palmerton and Eric Brown of Palmerton; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Tim Jones, Michael, Shawn Brogan, David Hunsicker, Stacy, Brittany and Sean Snyder; and her brothers, Edward, Bruce and David Kern. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harding Funeral Home (25-27 N 2nd St, Slatington, PA 18080). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
