He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A., Sr. and Katherine Brightbill (Rausch); and his siblings, Katherine Lingle and Samuel Brightbill, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lana J. Brightbill (Bowman); his children, Brian L. Brightbill (Teri) and Robin L. Reed (Brian) of Ephrata; his brother George Brightbill; and his grandchildren, Ryan Blackwell (Natalie), Dylan Blackwell (Phaedra), Elizabeth Brightbill and Meryck Reed.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Citizens Fire Company #1 (35 W Walnut St, Palmyra, PA 17078).
