Lorraine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Lorraine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Lorraine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smetana and Florence Smetana (Bender); her husband William R. McKinney; her son Edward Swoyer; her sister Josephine Myers Shambaugh; and her pet Oreo.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Swoyer of Lebanon; and her cousins, Kathryn Reist of Annville and Thomas Maurer of Indiana.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the New Covenant Church (695 E Ridge Rd, Palmyra, PA 17078).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon County Humane Society, 150 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
