It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Denise Dowhower (Palmyra, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley Denise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Denise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Weitzel and Marjorie Weitzel (Holland); and her brother Randall Weitzel. She is survived by: her husband Bradley S. Dowhower; her son Christopher Weitzel (Katie) of Bedford; her brothers, Richard Weitzel (Barbara) and Terry Weitzel (Joy); her half-brother Luke Bowser; and her grandson Silas Weitzel.
