He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nicholas Negrey Sr. and Edith Theresa Brynes; his sisters, Jean Letofsky and Janet Negrey; and his former wife Elizabeth Velutini Negrey.
He is survived by: his wife Maryann; his children, Alicia Peacock (Charles), Daniel Negrey and Patrick Negrey; his brother Dr. John N. Negrey Jr.; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Mid-Atlantic Society or the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
