She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Joseph A. Guarisco and Agnes Hanson Guarisco; and her brother Eric Guarisco. She is survived by: her husband Charlie Scott; her children, Charlie Scott Jr. (Kate), Katherine "Katie" Yoder (Mark) and Daniel "Dan" Scott (Melissa); her grandchildren, Lincoln, Archer, Brynn, Liam, Charlotte and Nora; her siblings, Elise Thomas, Sue DeSantis, Marcia Standley and William Guarisco; and her siblings-in-law, John Scott (Elaine) and Betsy Lane.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St John's Presbyterian Church (217 Berkley Rd, Devon, PA 19333). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery (2400 Valley Forge Park Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Janette's memory be made in honor of her dedication to education or church outreach.
