Sylvia J. Houff Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia J. Houff in Paoli, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Houff; her parents, Arthur Deville and Julia Marie Spengler (Conrad); and her children, Dianne DeForrest, Robin Thomas, Joel Mattson, Kirtus Mattson and Desiree Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Huston J. Mattson III (Lori) and Glenn Mattson (Grace); her siblings, Arthur Spengler, Gloria Ford and Kathleen Wachsmuth (Albert); her close friend Steve Wallace; and her stepchildren, Sylvia, Shelly and Susie. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Philadelphia Memorial Park (124 Phoenixville Pike, Malvern, PA 19355).
