It is with sadness that the passing of William McDonnell (Paoli, Pennsylvania) is shared. William, born on August 5, 1946, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ashton McDonnell, Sr. and Francis Theresa Doyle; and his brother Charles Ashton McDonnell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Jean McGlade; his daughters, Emily (Bryan Stueben), Kara Mikita and Christine (AJ Fairchild); and his grandchildren, James Mikita and Katie Mikita. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Saint Monica Church (63 Main Ave, Berwyn, PA 19312).
Through his work and professional affiliations, he developed lasting relationships and made meaningful contributions to the landscape, nursery, and contracting industries.
