Samuel L. Metzler Obituary
We bid farewell to Samuel L. Metzler of Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 2, 2025 at the age of 82. Samuel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Leaman and Anna Metzler (Walters); and his siblings, C. Lehman (Lem), Joseph (Joe) and Susan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Metzler (Boll); his children, Wesley (Lois), James (Nancy), Betty (Elage Estime) of Willow Street, Beth (Matthew Waldron) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Eunice (Kent Beiler) of Westminster, SC; and his sisters, Barbara Miller (Clyde), Lillian Yoder (John) and Arlene Carpenter (James). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren (1392 Robert Fulton Hwy, Quarryville, PA 17566).
