He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert Hinton and Edith Hinton (Steinmetz); and his brothers, Clayton and Albert Hinton. He is survived by : his wife Ruth Marie Hinton (Lohman) of Hinton Orchard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 2445 Lake Minsi Drive Bangor, PA 18013.
