It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Albert Defazio Sr. of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 8, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Freda B. DeFazio (Perella); his children, Valerie Vacula (Keith) and Albert DeFazio, Jr. (Saundra); his grandchildren, Kristen Cummings, Tony DeFazio, Nicholas DeFazio and Natalie DeFazio; his great grandchildren, Braden Jones and Nico DeFazio; and his siblings, Anthony "Fuzzy" Defazio (Pat), William, Patsy DeFazio and Angelina Buono.

Masks and social distancing required, no more than 25 people in the funeral home at a time.

Memorials may be made in his name to the VA Aspinwall for Patient Programs, 1010 Delafield Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15215 or the Veteran's Breakfast Club, 200 Magnolia Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15228.

“Our sincere sympathy to your family from all of the Barry family. Al was one of our father, Dave's, co-workers at the Oakmont Water Authority. I will remember him from my childhood when we would sometimes pick-up my Dad at the Verona shop, later in Oakmont. So glad that he and a group of others from OWA were able to visit with my Dad when he was at Seneca Hills. I had a chance to visit with him for a while at my Dad's funeral. Great guy and I am sure he will be missed. The Barry Family”
