He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Theresa; and his child Terry. He is survived by: his children, Maribeth May (late Brad), Edward Fitzroy (Jenny), Daniel Fitzroy (Susan) and Barbara Kumar (Larry); and his sister Lillian Wallen. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William F. Gross Funeral Home, Ltd. (11735 Frankstown Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish St. Susanna Church (200 Stotler Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235).
