He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Costa (DeLuca); his siblings, Thomas, Rose Marano and Anita Biro; and his parents, Joseph Costa and Michalina Costa (Ionadi).

He is survived by: his children, Gina Calabro (Anthony), Marla Adamchik (Joseph) and Joseph C. Costa; his grandchildren, Alaina, Victoria, Sara, Abby, Katie, Joey and Izzy; his great grandchild Ace; his sister Carmella Leonette; and his close friend Dee Dee Olive.
