She was predeceased by: her husband James Shepard; her daughter Laura Anne Shepard; and her parents, Charles Shipley and Luella Mae Shipley (Scott). She is survived by: her son Scott James Shepard (Cecilia); and her granddaughters, Gretchen and Grace Shepard.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
