He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin O'Connell and Anna Zigarovich; and his wife Jane O'Connell (Ellis). He is survived by: his son John Ellis (Sandy); his grandsons, Bryan (Shayna) and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Kaylum and Colton; and his sisters, Helen Divers (Ray Kalkbrenner), Mary Ann Penrod of Churchill and Margaret "Peg" Conwell (Sam) of Braddock Hills. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
